FAQ
How much could a new boiler save me?
A new gas boiler will save you a substantial amount per year on your gas bills, here is a table outlining approximately how much depending on the energy band of your existing boiler.
How much will a new boiler cost me?
Typically a new gas boiler would cost in the region of £2500-4000, however we can install a new Viessmann boiler with a filter and wireless programmer from £1895 Inc VAT, this would also come with a 10 year manufacture backed warranty!
How long will it take to install a new boiler?
Job times vary depending on the amount of work required, a typical boiler swap with no extras would take our engineers just short of a day, a conversion from a cylinder and tanks to a combination boiler will take 2 days, and a full heating system with new radiators would take 3 days.
How long is the warranty on my new boiler?
All our boilers come with a 10 year manufacture backed warranty so you have peace of mind knowing you’re covered for a long time!
Is it a messy job to replace a boiler?
All our engineers are fully stocked up with dust sheets and carpet protecter to ensure minimal mess during the installation, after the job is complete the engineer will take the old boiler and rubbish with him.
What is a combi boiler?
A combination boiler supplies both heating and hot water without the need for a hot water storage tank, they are the preferred choice of boiler as they are more efficient as they produce hot water on demand instead of pre heating a large cylinder that could go to waste.
What is a system boiler?
A system boiler uses a cylinder to store the hot water but unlike a standard boiler the heating system is pressurised. These systems will have a cylinder, 1 tank and a pressure gauge either on the boiler or on the pipework.
What is a standard boiler?
(sometimes known as traditional, conventional or heat only boilers) These boilers have a stored hot water cylinder and 2 tanks. 1 to feed the heating system and 1 to feed the hot water cylinder.
Do i need a magnetic filter?
It is recommend to fit a filter on every new installation if possible as it will prevent any dirt/debris making its way into the new boiler and will increase the lifespan.
Do i need to do anything before the installation?
The area where the boiler is located would need to be clear to enable our installer to get proper access to the appliance, if there is something that needs moving during the installation the engineer will let you know or with your permission can do it for you.

These are estimated figures based on installing a new A-rated condensing boiler with a programmer, room thermostat and thermostatic radiator controls (TRVs) in a gas-heated home from an older boiler with a programmer and room thermostat. Savings will vary depending on the size and thermal performance of your home. Figures are based on fuel prices as of March 2019.
